Providence Christian School was founded and developed as a ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Dothan. The church had previously established a respected preschool program and felt that it was being led to develop a complex for primary and secondary education. The School Board sought to develop an overall master plan, which could allow for a systematic approach toward the future growth and development of the campus. The initial goals and objectives established by the Board for Phase I of this project were based on a limited budget and required a creative approach toward establishing a building type which would relate to and allow for development of more permanent facilities. |
